Professionals who work and live in the Metropolitan area and have an interest in promoting and advancing the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington (BGCGW) through programmatic and fundraising support.
Our goal is to engage like-minded individuals who bring energy, have fresh ideas, creatively generate funds, and support programs, in the work and volunteer leadership of the BGCGW.
To serve area youth while promoting BGCGW through social, civic and community service activities.
Funds raised through special events provide critical resources to club programs and initiatives. NGL hosts a Summer Soiree each June and one or two smaller fundraisers throughout the year. Donate now to support Greater Washington Boys & Girls Clubs.
All members are required to pay Annual Dues of $100 to support the administrative needs of the group.
Executive Committee is comprised of Chair, Vice Chair, Correspondence Chair, Public Relations Chair, Fundraising chair, Program Co-Chairs, Volunteer & Club Outreach Co-Chairs and a Finance Chair. Executive Committee members are responsible for securing or providing a financial contribution totaling $1,000/year.
General Committee: Members commit to supporting a subcommittee and securing or providing a financial contribution totaling $500/year.
Held on the second Tuesday of odd-numbered months. Members are encouraged to attend all meetings and participate in BGCGW and NGL activities and events.
Participate in a meaningful way by joining a committee: Membership, Fundraising, Program, Public Relations, or Volunteer & Club Outreach.
