All youth are welcome at Culmore Character Club!!

All youth are welcome at Culmore Character Club!!

Our Club belongs to children who have the desire to find out who they are and how special they can be. At the Club, our staff wants to work with these awesome kids to explore the many exiting opportunities to learn and grow together.

The children know that they are responsible for doing their schoolwork every day and sometimes they have to work extra to improve their academic skills. Last year 95% of our Club members improved their school grades!!!

We want our members to not only achieve high grades in school but also learn to care for this community and the world. We want to teach them to love others also.

We offer a character class every week to promote how to be a good person and make good decisions in the challenges of every day life.

We think about the community that we belong to. Sometimes we are sad about what is happening in our neighborhood. But we also know that our kids are the future of this community and we want to foster hope for a better tomorrow.

We think about the things that kids will enjoy and learn physically, emotionally and intellectually. So we provide many different activities to use their time productively and enjoy themselves at the Club.

Parents and children! Won't you join us?

    Additional Information:

Our Club is located in the Culmore United Methodist Church at the intersection of Charles Street and Leesburg Pike. The church is set back from the main road with a large grassy area in front.
