Fairfax County Region: Overview

The Fairfax County Boys & Girls Clubs are part of the Virginia Region of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington. The Virginia Region consists of six Clubs in three sub-regions serving Fairfax County, the City of Alexandria, and Prince William County / Manassas.

Each of the three sub-regions is supported by their own regional Board of Directors, as well as by the Regional Vice President and Director of Operations. Each Club has their own Branch Director. Every Club in our region has their own unique personality and serves a diverse group of children. Our Clubs often collaborate to offer expanded services that each individual Club would be challenged to provide on their own. Our goal is to be the number one youth serving organization in Northern Virginia.

Our Clubs provide youth with hope and opportunity and help to open the door to a GREAT FUTURE.

Our Mission

The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington is to help boys and girls of all backgrounds, especially those who need us most, build confidence, develop character and acquire the skills needed to become productive, civic-minded, responsible adults.

Our History

The Fairfax County Regional Boys & Girls Clubs have been serving the youth of Fairfax County for over a decade. The region consists of two locations, the Culmore Character Club, located in the Culmore United Methodist Church, and the Murraygate Club, located in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County.
