The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington (BGCGW) is to help boys and girls of all backgrounds, especially those who need us most, build confidence, develop character and acquire the skills needed to become productive, civic-minded, responsible adults.

BGCGW serves over 14,000 youth a year through membership and community outreach programs at 14 sites throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.  Over 1,200 youth enter our Clubs each day throughout the school year and serve a population of whom nearly half live at or below poverty (qualify for free or reduced lunch).
