Welcome to Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Fitness Competition (NFC). This program will support the entire culture of wellness that Boys & Girls Clubs fosters throughout the year. The Club will hold a local Fitness Competitions for it’s members. This one-day event will allow all members to participate in various fitness contests. Along with promoting positive competition toward developing the grit, tenacity and resilience members need, each activity will present an opportunity to build confidence and competence.

Design Apprenticeship Program: CH 14 & National Building Museum @ Clubhouse 14 (yard next door)

Design Apprenticeship Program

Starting March 4th, students and staff from the National Building Museum’s (NBM) Design Apprenticeship Program will work on the lot next door to Clubhouse 14 to build a landscaped space that will include an urban garden, improved seating and more!

We invite you to attend the Saturday sessions to volunteer with the student designers and help improve our green space!

Calendar:
• Saturdays, March 4th – May 6th*, 10am-3pm
Site visits: March 4th and March 11
Installation + Celebration: April 29th and May 6th*

Lauren from NBM will lead a visioning session with Clubhouse 14 youth today at 4pm in the tech lab, if you’re interested in stopping by.

*May 6th date may be moved to accommodate Immigration March in D.C.
